Hiring Jenny Tenney was one of the earliest, and best, decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Jenny is warm, kind, creative, and simply a joy to be around. The calm that Jenny creates could soothe even the most harried bride! She was unobtrusive but incredibly thorough on our wedding day, and the photos that we received are truly works of art. We will cherish her photos forever. She is patient and provides some very gentle direction, but for the majority of the time she will be quietly capturing moments as they happen...for that I am so thankful. She's great at rolling with the punches; even when our groomsmen decided they wanted a photo in their underwear, she was there and snapping away with a smile on her face. There are pictures in our wedding photos that make me laugh and cry, and I can't imagine a better way to relive our big day. There are not enough words in the world to describe how much we adore Jenny. Her incredible talent and passion for what she does shines through in every photo she takes, and you will not be disappointed by her. She's very easy to work with and incredibly affordable for her talent, as well! I recommend her 100 percent.

We loved Jenny... and her photography! After scouring the web trying to find the right photographer for what we wanted with our wedding pictures, I came across Jenny's page, and loved her work. We decided to meet her in person and talk about what we wanted, and she was on the same page with us from the very beginning about how we wanted things to look. She was very sweet and clearly enthusiastic about her work. Once she got to our wedding, it was clear that she was in love with her job, and it all came through in her work. She's incredibly talented, has a great eye and would be great for any occasion. She's incredibly sweet, and we just fell in love with her as a person as well. I'd recommend her to anyone who is getting married in North Carolina, or anywhere she's willing to travel!!

I can't even tell you how excited and thrilled we are about these photos! You did such an amazing job...Dan and I just got through looking at all 700 of them and cracking up at all the funny moments and dance moves. There were so many details of that day that we weren't able to appreciate because we were busy getting ready or just overwhelmed, and you've captured all of them (ex: the cake. hey, that was a nice cake!). The portraits, detail photos, candid photos....are all amazing. We were talking about how you got such great candid photos, without your subjects seeming to know you were there. The way you managed to do the lighting at the reception was amazing. I am so amazed by the photos of the toasts and special dances with the flashes of light in the background. I can't wait to share these with family and friends. Thanks so much again for this amazing gift you've given us!

WE CAN'T COMPLIMENT HER ENOUGH! You will not be disappointed by this highly talented photographer! My fiance and I really wanted to find a local photographer that was creative, innovative, patient, trendy, and affordable. Our wish was granted when we found Jenny! She met with us first at a local coffee shop and took the time to really get to know us. She was able to schedule our engagement session very quickly. Jenny took the time to switch her lenses continuously for the perfect shot! Prior to our photos, she found places around the town that were unique and complimented our clothing. Following our downtown trip, she followed us to a field near our home where she took photos of us with our dogs! It is VERY difficult to find photographers that are willing to include furry friends, let alone travel to a client's home! She is very fun to work with and to be around! She was able to capture everything we wished for and more, and our photos will be treasured forever! Jenny does incredible work but that can be said about a lot of photographers. The quality of her photos is beyond compare but what sets her apart is that she goes a few extra miles for her clients. She came out to the venue early and caught photos of things about the place that we didn't even notice. She was the perfect combination, she got all the shots that were important to us and then some, but she was never in anyone's way. When Matt and I had finished the ceremony and posed shots, we just walked around with her and caught some of the best shots of the whole day. She put us at ease and the pictures show it. Jenny is a rare find, a relaxed professional who goes above and beyond to make your day really special.
